Over five days, we will discover the nativity workshops and streets of San Gregorio Armeno , travel to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius , learn how to make an authentic Neapolitan pizza , explore some of the city's most iconic landmarks and head underground into the fascinating Galleria Borbonica . The experience also includes a traditional dinner with live music and the support of the Apolo team, so you can focus on enjoying the destination and sharing the experience with the group.

Arrival in Naples and Christmas in San Gregorio Armeno
We will arrive in Naples during the early afternoon and check into our accommodation. You will have free time to start discovering the atmosphere of Naples' historic centre, stroll through its shopping streets and immerse yourself in the city's Christmas spirit.
One of the highlights will be San Gregorio Armeno, famous for its traditional workshops producing nativity scenes and handcrafted figurines. At this time of year, the street becomes one of the most distinctive and atmospheric Christmas sights in Naples.- Arrival in Naples

Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius
After breakfast, we will travel by private coach to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii. A guided visit will take us through the streets, houses, temples, theatres and public spaces of the Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
It is one of those places where history stops feeling abstract and becomes something you can experience on a remarkably human scale.
In the afternoon, we will continue to Vesuvius National Park. We will travel by coach towards the visitor area and have time to enjoy panoramic views over the Bay of Naples, the Sorrento Peninsula and the surrounding islands. Afterwards, we will return to Naples for the evening.- Pompeii

Neapolitan pizza and guided tour of Naples
The morning will be dedicated to an authentic Neapolitan pizza cooking class. We will discover different types of flour, learn the secrets behind a 24-hour direct-fermentation dough and practise the traditional hand-shaping technique.
Then comes the best part: preparing and tasting our pizza alongside several classics of Neapolitan street food, including crocché, frittatina, montanarina and zeppoline.
In the afternoon, an official guide will take us through Naples to discover landmarks such as Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Teatro di San Carlo, Galleria Umberto I, Castel Nuovo and the historic centre. Galleria Borbonica, Christmas markets and Neapolitan dinner
After breakfast, we will visit the Galleria Borbonica, one of Naples' most fascinating underground attractions. Its tunnels, galleries, ancient cisterns and air-raid shelters reveal different layers of the city's history, from the Bourbon period to the Second World War.
The experience will also include a raft ride through former underground water cisterns.
After the visit, you will have free time to return to Naples' Christmas markets and artisan workshops, do some shopping or continue exploring the historic centre.

Price, tourist tax & possible price revisions
The trip price starts at €799 per person based on a shared double or twin room. The final price will depend on the accommodation option selected and any supplements applicable to your booking.
- The single room supplement is €130 and is subject to availability.
- The hotel tourist tax is not included . The current quotation indicates €6 per person per night, currently equivalent to an estimated total of €24 per person for four nights. This amount is payable directly at the hotel and may be subject to change.
- Flights are not included in the trip price.
- Travel insurance is not included and Apolo does not provide travel insurance as part of this booking.
- Services and expenses expressly listed on this page under “Not included in the price” are also excluded.
- The price may be revised upwards or downwards up to 20 calendar days before departure only for the reasons provided for in the applicable contractual conditions.

If Apolo cancels the trip
This departure is subject to reaching the minimum number of participants specified for the trip.
Minimum group size: 20 people.
The planned maximum group size for this trip
is 25 people.
If the trip has to be cancelled because the minimum group size is not reached, or for any other reason provided for in the contractual conditions, the applicable cancellation and refund procedure will be followed.
Transferring your booking to another person
You may request to transfer your booking to another person who meets the requirements of the trip, provided you notify Apolo sufficiently in advance.
As a contractual reference, the request should be made within a reasonable period and no later than 7 calendar days before departure .
Any actual costs arising from the change will be communicated before the transfer is completed. The ability to amend services that have already been booked will also depend on the conditions set by the relevant suppliers.

Where does the trip start and finish?
The programme begins in Naples on 4 December 2026 and ends in the city on 8 December after breakfast, check-out and some free time.
Our meeting point will be the hotel, but an Apolo representative will be waiting for you at the airport to provide the bus ticket you will use to reach the accommodation.
Are flights included?
No. You can choose your departure airport and the flight that suits you best, provided you follow the recommended arrival and departure times that we will send you.

Yes. On arrival, we will provide you with a bus ticket for the journey directly to the hotel.

What level of mobility does the trip require?

Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius may involve walking, slopes, stairs and uneven ground. Naples' historic centre also involves a significant amount of walking.

Is this trip focused on LGBTQ+ nightlife?
No. This is primarily a cultural, food and Christmas trip designed to be enjoyed as part of an LGBTQ+ group.
The main programme focuses on Naples, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, local cuisine and Neapolitan traditions.
That does not mean there is no room for nightlife: we will also have opportunities to explore LGBTQ+ nightlife in Naples during the trip.
Can I join the trip if I am travelling solo?
Yes. The trip is designed so that you can join on your own and become part of the group naturally.
You can choose a shared room with another traveller or request a single room for an additional €130 , subject to availability.
What happens after I complete the booking form?
Once you have completed the form, you will need to pay €200 to secure your place .
