Travelling solo
You do not need to form your own group to join us. Many travellers arrive on their own and meet the rest of the group during the experience. The trip coordinator takes care of the logistics and helps create a welcoming atmosphere, while the itinerary combines shared activities with free time.
You can choose a shared room or request a private room when available. Before booking, you will know how rooms are allocated, whether a single supplement applies and the expected profile of the group.
Apolo does not organise dating trips. The aim is to discover a destination in a comfortable, open and respectful LGBTQ+ environment. Any friendships that develop are part of the experience, not a commercial promise.

Yes. You can join even if you do not know anyone else in the group beforehand. Apolo trips are designed to help solo travellers settle in naturally while still keeping their independence and free time.
Before departure, you will receive all the practical information you need and, where applicable, access to the group communication channel so that you can meet the coordinator and the other travellers.
Our trips are mainly designed for gay travellers and the wider LGBTQ+ community, in an atmosphere of respect, inclusion and shared experience. However, some departures may be aimed at a specific traveller profile.

Group size depends on the destination, accommodation and type of experience, but we favour small groups that make it easier to connect, coordinate the trip and provide personal attention.
The minimum and maximum group size may vary for each departure. You will find the available information on the individual trip page or you can ask the Apolo team before booking.
Our trips generally include accommodation, breakfast, selected lunches or dinners, the activities listed in the programme and Apolo coordination throughout the experience.
Inclusions vary by destination. Each trip page clearly explains which services are included, which are optional and which costs must be covered separately by the traveller. We recommend reviewing this information before confirming your booking.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, flights and transport required to reach the destination are not included. This allows you to choose the airport, airline and schedule that best suit your needs.
Each trip page specifies the meeting point, included transfers and any recommendations relating to your arrival. Do not book flights until the departure has been confirmed and you have reviewed the information provided by Apolo.
The published price is usually based on shared accommodation. If you are travelling with a partner or friend, you can tell us during booking so that we can place you together, subject to the room setup and availability of the accommodation.
If you are travelling solo and choose a shared room, Apolo will arrange for you to share with another participant. The specific conditions and available room types are stated on each trip page.
Yes. On many trips, you can request a private room when the accommodation has availability. This option usually carries a supplement on top of the published price.
The cost and availability depend on the departure. Check the relevant trip page or contact Apolo before booking if a private room is essential for you.
Each departure has an Apolo representative responsible for the programme at the destination. Their role is to coordinate schedules, activities and suppliers, support the group dynamic and help with organisational issues.
The coordinator does not replace emergency, medical or consular services. The trip page will explain the scope of the coordinator's role and any assistance services included.
First, choose one of the upcoming trips and open its page to review the dates, programme, price and booking conditions. From there, you can complete the registration form and pay the stated deposit to request or confirm your place.
Your booking is formalised once you receive confirmation from Apolo and meet the payment conditions for the selected departure. Always keep the confirmation email and your booking documents.
It depends on the trip. A deposit is usually paid first to reserve your place, and the remaining balance must be paid by the dates stated on the trip page or in your booking confirmation.
Some departures allow the outstanding balance to be divided into several payments. Where available, the schedule and relevant amounts will be shown on the trip page or in the documents sent by Apolo.
Cancellation conditions depend on when you notify us, the services booked and the costs already incurred in organising the trip. For this reason, the refundable amount may vary in each case.
Before paying, review the specific conditions for the departure and the general terms and conditions . If you need to cancel, notify Apolo in writing as soon as possible so that we can explain the options applicable to your booking.
We assess the legal, social and tourism context of each destination, along with its cultural, outdoor, food, wellness and leisure offering. We also consider location, transport and the specific needs of the group.
We select accommodation and suppliers that share our standards of respect, hospitality and quality. When visiting destinations with a more conservative context, we design the programme with particular care regarding the spaces, activities and partners used during the trip.
